About Hearroom

The music platform teachers trust and students actually stick with.

Hearroom started from a simple frustration: every music learning platform was making music harder to love.

Teachers were paying 15 percent commission on every lesson while dealing with broken scheduling tools and billing disputes they did not cause. Students were getting charged unexpectedly and losing credits with no refund path. Amateur musicians trying to find people to jam with had almost nothing.

Built around trust

Hearroom is built on one core belief: trust is the foundation of any learning relationship. That means transparent billing with no surprise charges, flat fees instead of commission grabs, and a real refund policy for students.

Three communities, one platform

Teachers use Hearroom to run their teaching practice. Students use it to find great teachers, track their progress, and get daily coaching from an AI that adapts to their instrument and skill level. Musicians use it to find bandmates and collaborators matched to their style and experience.

All three communities make each other better. Teachers attract students. Students build skills. Musicians find each other. And the platform gets richer for everyone as it grows.

Where we are now

We are early. We launched in 2026 with a focus on getting the fundamentals right: billing that is fair, tools that actually work, and a community that rewards people for playing more music.

If you are a teacher coming off a platform that let you down, or a student who has been burned by unexpected charges, or a musician who just wants to find someone to jam with on a Saturday afternoon: Hearroom is for you.
